As a part of our transition to Multipli Credit Union, we’re preparing to merge our member data. There are a few key updates that need your attention.
We understand that the changes below may require some adjustments on your part, and we appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we near the end of our transition.
Important Dates:
Friday, October 31st:
- Member Data Merger Begins
Saturday, November 1st:
- Branches Closed
- Activate New Multipli MasterCards
- Member Data Merger Complete
Sunday, November 2nd:
- Missouri Credit Union Debit Cards No Longer Active
- Download and enroll in new mobile banking app: Multipli Credit Union Mobile
Monday, November 3rd:
- Branches Reopen
What you need to know
You can use your debit card for transactions and to make withdrawals from ATMs during the data merger beginning October 31st.
Account data will begin merging on October 31 at 6 pm. It is expected to be completed on November 1. As services come online and for the latest status updates, visit River Region and Missouri Credit Union are Stronger Together.
During this data merger, these account services will be unavailable:
- Online & mobile banking
- Bill pay
- Balance inquiries, deposits, and transfers via ATM/PTMs
DO NOT make any changes to direct deposits or ACH payments at this time. Your full account number to use for deposits and ACH payments will be available in the new Multipli online banking system after 11/1. We will communicate specific action details for you to take after 11/1.
What You Need to Do: Members are encouraged to complete all banking tasks by 6 p.m. on October 31st to avoid service interruptions.
On November 1, your account number may change. In most cases the prefix of “35”, “350”, “3500”, or 35000 will be added to create an eight- digit account number.
Scenarios:
- Seven-Digit Account Numbers: Replace the first digit with 35XXXXXXX
- Six-Digit Account Numbers: Add 35XXXXXX
- Five-Digit Account Numbers: Add 350XXXXX
- Four-Digit Account Numbers: 3500XXXX
- Three-Digit Account Numbers: 35000XXX
What You Need to Do:
BEFORE NOVEMBER 1ST - Go to the ‘New Account Details’ page in the ‘Account & Transactions’ menu in online banking to see how your account numbers will be affected. Screenshot or save your new Multipli Account Number(s).
AFTER NOVEMBER 1ST - You will need to use your new account number(s) to regain online account access. Checks and ACH transactions containing your old account number will continue to process. We will notify you in the future when any change becomes necessary.
For specific shares and loans, you can find the new 14-digit account number extension in the Mulitpli online banking platform or app.
New Multipli MasterCard(s) will arrive on or around October 17th in a plain white envelope with the return address of 3124 W Edgewood, Jefferson City, MO. Current Missouri Credit Union debit cards will stop working on November 2nd.
What You Need to Do: Activate your new card(s) on November 1st to avoid service interruption.
The current Missouri Credit Union online banking platform and mobile banking app will no longer work after November 1.
What You Need to Do: On November 2, begin using our new mobile banking app and online banking platform.
Getting started with the new mobile banking app:
- Search and download ‘Multipli Credit Union Mobile’ from your app store
- Select ‘First Time User? Enroll Now’ at login.
- Use your new account number to register
Accessing the new online banking platform:
- Visit multiplicu.org
- Select ‘Login’
- Log in to the platform using your new mobile banking credentials

Members are encouraged to complete fund transfers, cash withdrawals, and routine banking activities by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31st.
While we do not expect interruptions to debit cards, we do recommend members carry alternative forms of payment over the merger period just in case.
After November 1st, update any external automatic payments and direct deposits with your new account number and new routing number (286580917).

Yes, after the data merger, you will need to resubmit paperwork with your new account number to avoid deposit interruptions.
They will continue to clear for 6 months following November 1st. Plan to order and begin using new checks with your new account and routing numbers by April 30, 2026.
Yes, your VISA debit cards will work during the member data merger.
Your current MCU VISA debit card(s) will stop working on November 2nd. You will need to activate your new Multipli MasterCard(s) on November 1st. These were mailed to you on or around October 17.
